RUCHÈ DI CASTAGNOLE MONF. DOCG "VIGNA DEL PARROCO"
Description
Taking its name from the small vineyard near the church in Castagnole Monferrato from where the selected Ruché grapes are sourced. Vigna del Parroco is dedicated to Don Giacomo Cauda, parish priest of the village and the man responsible for the resurrection of this indigenous variety. It’s packaged in a traditional bottle, typically used only for special occasions or historical events; inside, the wine is a precious and bright ruby colour with purple nuances. The nose immediately evokes personality, offering floral scents of rose and violet, fruity morello cherries and small forest berries on a subtle balsamic undertone. On the palate the wine distinguishes itself as a “grande piedmontese”, happily accompanying any festivity regardless of the menu
